Setting up RSS Activities after Mapping
Initial Series setup:
Search for the RSS activity
Click on the drop down arrow and click on 'select the Activity'
Select “Settings” then “Forms”
Go to Session Evaluations
- “RSS Post-Activity Evaluation – Master”
- Select “Duplicate Form” and “OK”
- Select “Edit Form”
- In the “Name” section leave as is except replace the word " Duplicate" with the name of the RSS then click Save
- Go to the Question 3 “Did this event meet the Series Objectives” and click on “Edit Question”
- In the “Question” box add the series objectives after colon with each one separated by a semi-colon and click Save.
- If additional evaluation questions are provided on the application you can add those to the Master. To do this:
- Select the same type of question on the form (like scale, Yes/No, open text box) and click on Duplicate Question. Locate the duplicated question and click on Edit Question.
- Enter the new question name in the “Name” box and the “Question” box. Scroll down and change the display order number to occur where you would like it to display on the evaluation form. Scroll down and change “Required” to No.
- Click on Save
After Each Lecture Approval:
Go to the activity; select the activity and go to sessions page
Make sure the amount of time equals the amount of time approved (1 hour vs. 1.5 hours, etc)
Select “Settings” then “Forms”
- Select Session Evaluation section, scroll down and click on “RSS Post-Activity Evaluation – Master – [Name of RSS series]”
- Select “Duplicate Form” and “OK”
- Select “Edit Form”
- In the “Name” section delete “RSS Post-Activity Evaluation – Master and add the date after the name of the RSS series as (YearMonthDay) (2024 May 7)
- Scroll down to “Deactivate On” and select the date 14 days after the lecture and select the time of 11:45 pm and click Save
- Go to Question 2 “Now that I have completed this activity…” and click on “Edit” next to the first answer choice [objective 1]
- In the “Display Text” box replace with the objective and click save
- Repeat the process for each objective
- If you have less than four objectives click “Edit” on the remaining answers and scroll down to “Status” and choose Inactive.
- Click Save
Again, go to the RSS activity > Sessions page

- Click on the lecture title for which you created the session evaluation. Make sure you are selecting the session with the correct date.
- If the the preferred credit claiming method for the activity is via claiming code, then the “CEU Authorization” is auto added when the lecture application is mapped.
- Scroll down to the 'Session Evaluation' field and select the evaluation that was created for this session.
- Click on the 'Announcement' and 'Intro Form' buttons and review for accuracy, download and send to Activity Coordinator. Be sure to include the code in that email if applicable
CPE/CPT Credit
If the Activity is approved for CPE and CPT credits, complete the ACPE Details for CPE Credit and ACPE Details for CPT credit respectively both at the Activity and session level.
- On the Activity level, go to “Manage Accreditation info”
- Click on Accreditation form available here and complete it.
- At the session detail, the above form is available under 'Accrediting Body Details' on the Session page.
Final settings
Click the edit pencil on dashboard
- Credit Claiming Offset (RSS Only) = 15. This means, learners have 15 days to claim credits after the end of each lecture/session.
- Change “Public” to “Yes” once you are ready for it to be displayed on the calendar(go live)
- Credit claiming access
- set to Yes if using Open claiming or using a code
- set to No if using the batch upload or HM registration
- Click Save
Select “Meeting Times”
Click on the check box to open the deadline.

When the box is checked, the start date is set to 1 day before the current date, and the end date is set to 30 days after the current date. Click on the date fields to update the dates as needed. Learners can only claim credits on/between these dates and only for the sessions that have ended and up until 15 days after the session end date( credit claiming offset) .

Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.
